Makeup, Hair and Clothing Continued...

Swimsuit

Whether at the beach, or in the studio, makeup should be used, but should be so naturaly as to appear non-existent. Outdoor shoots will require the use of a skin tone base, or powder to prevent the skin from appearing shiny. If you know you are doing a swimsuit shoot, try to avoid getting bruises before the shoot, they will show up on camera. If you do get a bruise, make sure you have a matching skin tone base to apply regularly during the shoot.

Lingerie and Nude

Take care of yourself before appearing for these types of shoots. Freshly shaved or waxed legs look much more appealing in high resolution images. As with swimsuit modeling, bruises are a bad thing, try to avoid getting them, but if you have some, make sure you bring a skin tone base to apply regularly. Makeup and hair are as per a normal glamour shoot.

Goth / Fetish

Makeup: Rumor has it that black is in fashion at the moment. But seriously, the same rules apply here as do for glamour - tasteful and careful application of makeup will make you look 110% better during your shoot, regardless of the color. Since this style of makeup often covers larger amounts of skin surface, great care should be taken to make sure all lines are symmetrical, when they are supposed to be. Asymmetrical patterns are ok, but it should be obvious that the pattern was intended to be asymmetrical.

Clothing: Almost anything goes, but when shooting fetish, it is helpful to bring your favorite props along to make the shoot more believable.
